I've had some strange ones I've the past couple of days, wish I could untangle the complexity of them and what they mean

Keep a notebook by your bed, write them down as soon as you wake up and review in a month or so - you will see some interesting patterns forming and they will make more sense

Very good idea

Most of mine are jumbled up with people I've seen or talked about recently and what happens is a reaction to how I'm feeling at that moment.

Last very vivid dream I had went like this.

Insanely bad car crash involving myself, mrsdpt and our dog. I woke up and was told mrs and the pooch didn't make it.

I kind of threw a rage and then told them well if I'm on life support fucking turn it off.

First dream in a while that's stuck with me

I had a dream about 9-10 months ago that stayed with me.

I was a soldier on the bottom floor of a multi floor building. Mrs is trapped on the top floor and she's making sounds which I'm not sure are sounds of pleasure or pain. I need to get to her but between me an her is an army of soldiers all wielding guns. Big guns, little guns, black guns, shiny metallic guns, guns that jam and don't work properly, guns that never seem to run out of bullets, guns everywhere. I was doing pretty well against them but woke up mid dream.

Can't for the life of me think what it was all about.

Sometimes what we perceive as complicated jumbled dreams are in fact astral planing .

I had the dream about 2 months before we got married. The build up of which got to me and I lost my head a bit tbh, experienced a fairly inexplicable bout of sexual jealousy and insecurity for a couple of weeks. Didn't affect our sex life though really.

Funnily enough, when I woke from the dream I lay there for a few seconds before realising what it was about and giggling to myself in bed. It just resolved itself not long after that, then we started swinging.
