the miss selfridge arson attack was in manchester.

i can't get to sleep because the chopper still flying about.

hate what these s**ts have done to the city of manchester (and to all of the other cities). i was in the city centre this morning can't believe what has happened.

hope no-one has been hurt in areas where fabsters live.

I'm fine thanks, most of the trouble was over before I finished work.

The thugs have trashed parts of the Mander Centre, Dudley St and Queen's Square. Sainsbury's and Asda were also hit.

i live just on the edge of the city centre and i can hear the police cars even now. just hope the worst is over when i leave for work tomorrow. i'm just hoping the trains are running as i don't think the buses will be.

To add, 3 Muslim men were killed by chavs with a car in Manchester last night, in response to them daring to try and defend their mosque with their families inside.

I'll say it again; this isn't about ethnicity, it's about class. Chavs don't have any. They've been home grown in our housing estates like mushrooms. Who's fault that is, is now irrelevant, it's time to get rid of them.

All rioters should, if caught, lose all state benefits, permanently.

If they need to live on other's in future, they will have to do so on charity.

Lastly; the government has issued orders for synthetic ammunition to be used against the rioters.

Young people like her and myself are in no way connected to the chavs. They are in very specific housing estates.

Housing estates where nobody has worked in decades due to the benefit streams, all the houses are council and there are no role models beyond the drug dealers. Kids don't go to school for long, and everybody is short until the benefit check/allowance arrives.

I'm not being sarcastic here, I suggest you read the definition of 'peer group' more carefully.

A wee bit of a stretch even if they are of the same age, since every other demographic factor is different. We don't even have the same life expectancy. With regards to the Darcus Howe video.

It's sad to see him like that,he looks old,ill and was ranting a bit.

In the 80's in Brixton he was a genuinely great man. He did a hell of a lot for the whole community of Brixton,black and white and I remember him fondly as he was then.

It's a shame that a lot of people will only see him like this.he was a true legend in his day
