Best webcam to buy..??

Me and the hubby are looking to buy a webcam but have no idea what magapixel etc would be best.. any advice on it?

Microsoft VX-5000 HD. Last ones going cheap on Amazon for £13.10 inc post new.

Some of the cheaper cams have poor lenses and are very poor in low light.
