Are going to be those that do this I would imagine and those that don't care.

I wonder if others follow any of the info off veri's from another person in reflection to their own experience with the person that had the veri writen for them?

Its only on a few occasions. I have noticed vast differences between the feedback left and the actual person I met.

I wonder if others find this?

Also out of interest. If your a non bareback, condom only. Would you have protected sex with someone who does regularly have bare back sex?

And if yes, would you still have sex with that person, if they had have had sex with say another barebacker, yet into numbers of 300+ without protection with that person.

See what I found is. Are blokes on here others have veri's for by couples and single women...whom on their own profiles make big deal on protected sex and clean people. Yet the bloke they met, is actually bare back with lots of different women.

Or those couples who won't meet bi men, yet the straight man who left them feedback, has feedback from a bi couple...who on their page it says 'no straight men'

I guess depends upon how deep you go with the veri's as a cross reference tool.

mostly i won't bother looking at veris. i used to but i found that the guys who had veris raving about how great that guy was were awful in bed and usually ugly. this brought me to the conclusion they were trying to pass these guys onto other, unsuspecting/naive, women.

See the bit you wrote about guys with lots of veri's saying amazing...yet you think its like the woman passing the bloke off to someone else. From a mans point of view I'd have to agree with you. As I find I very rarely get veri and yet actually have met quite a few each time been here, but they all never been just a one off...like quite a bit mostly. So it makes me think...what you wrote...like they wanted at time to keep me for themselves

i still verify guys i like to meet, if i don't verify it's because they aren't genuine or they didn't want a veri to keep their numbers down.

but as you say repeat meets means you're doing something right with these people. i only repeat veri if they guy sends me another veri.

Veri's aren't gospel. Take them with a large dose of salt.

Apart from an entertaining read, I don't hold much stock in them these days.

However I can rarely deduce from a veri whether they fucked bareback or not. You got skills.

I look at veris when deciding whether to meet or not, it's not the comments I,m interested in as these are often codswallop, but who else they have met. If they have met people I wouldn't meet then I don't meet them. XXX

I sometimes mess around with ours to see what difference it can make in the messages we receive. Different veris can also elicit different reactions on the forums. It's all rather interesting.

I'm in the don't care about veris camp. I don't believe a word of them and i prefer to make my own mind up about someone. And as for following the veri trail. ..it's a waste of time. Unless you believe that the only sex that someone has ever had is displayed on a swingers site.

I read veris but I take them with a pinch of salt. No ones gonna show a bad veri afterall.

Also the way you interpret a veri could affect your judgement. I get all sorts of comments on mine, of how people perceive me to be and how they would treat me in the scenario they imagined my veris portray.

I'm the same but i used to think guys were more attracted to a 'type'. I guess some are but there are many people out there that see past the fact that I may have a very wobbly tummy. They like me for me.

We look at veris. Have they had repeat meets, are they all just socials, do they highlight barebacking and are they from other verified members or just 'circular' etc. Not interested in a blow by blow sexual account of the meet.

I only use varis to give me an indication that the profile is real. When you play with someone It's a totally a different dynamic from when they played with some else. So I never see a Veri as an indication of what things will be like. The fun is finding the out the dynamic between you for your self. As to leaving varis likewise I am not bothered. I see the practical importance of them but I dont like, if that makes sense. If someone leaves one, I will leave one back. I am perfectly happy when we dont feel the need to vari. I am no vari collector and I am yet to have to play with someone only the once so lots of repeat varis would be daft.

If I am meeting a couple or female that I haven't met at a social or a club before I will have a look at veri's just to see who has veri'd

If I recognise a few people that I know either that i know socially or played with then I would be more willing to play with them

For me I use it as are they genuine, and do they turn up. I have sometimes asked others what they are like just to get a flavour. Never sexually more what they like as people

I certainly know from club scene, that others have asked about me or my name has come up in conversations. I normally chuckle at this

Verifications are the epitome of "If you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all." I find myself torn between wanting to verify anyone who actually showed up and did what was agreed, and struggling to find nice things to say about a mediocre meet.

I tend to assume every partner is HIV+ and treat their fluids as hazardous waste. It's the safest way. But having been in the position of meeting someone who admitted to frequently barebacking and never getting tested, I can say that it not only would, but already has stopped me taking things beyond mutual masturbation.

I don't see doing low risk things with high risk people as any safer than doing high risk things with low risk people. There's roughly a 1 in 50 chance that a condom won't protect you from HIV. Roughly 1 in 20 men who have sex with men are HIV+, but the majority are now on medication and non-infectious. To my mind, that makes barebacking with someone with an average risk of being HIV+ and infectious statistically safer than using a condom with someone who is mostly likely HIV+ and infectious.

As for the numbers, I'm of the mind that an STI screening resets the clock. I don't care what they've done prior to their latest negative result. I'm only interested in what they've done since (including any window period.)
