Yeah. The BBC are complete crap, they're not showing hardly any of the actual footage I'm seeing. Just repeating the same old stuff from half a day ago.

There's a large group of Turkish Muslims protecting some of the streets in London where they live, blocking them off from the chavs.

Good on them. Pity the rest of London isn't capable of getting its shit together in a similar manner.

its because when people do stand up to the ones committing crime it is often them that fall foul of the law!! look at those who attack intruders in their home, there was even someone who got sued by a burgler who fell whilst burgling their home and injured his back!!!

the no win no fee lawyers have a lot to answer for

Not the Lawyers, blame the pratt who thought it would be a great idea to change the laws on solicitors advertising! It was almost as if that person and his wife were actually in that business!

Oh, wait a minute, Tony B Liar and Cherreeee ARE in that old game!!

O o O oo

I would rather blame the people who want to claim compensation for stubbling their big toe, if the people didn't claim, there wouldn't be a market.

You can blame them if you want, but if someone on a low income stubs their big toe and a guy in a suit says I can get you £3000 for that.....easy money

West

The Kurds and the Turks had the right idea last night by tooling themselves up and protecting their business...I wish more had done the same and fractured a few rioters skulls.

the version of that IVe seen starts a bit earlier and what's terrifying is you can just see the tiny line of police suddenly start to move back and hear the noise of whats approaching before you see it ...hopelessly outnumbered.

a friend of a member here from Woolwich was due to start a much needed new job in Wetherspoons next week - no job to go to now as there's no wetherspoons left.
