Sick of fake profiles

What is wrong with guys on here pretending to be women in profiles.

Ive lost count of the times ive been tricked. I feel a bit older and wiser now and usually spot them early on but its so annoying when you have a nice conversation with someone then its all a lie.

We don't meet anyone without veri's now - not webcam though!

It's sad because we all have to start somewhere but there are like u say so many idiots out there it's our only choice now!

They spoil it for everyone!!

Ha i'm getting good at spotting them now 99% success rate.

It only takes a couple of subtle questions to out them.

It does seem a really odd thing to do.lets face it,the subterfuge can't last forever.Do they think you might say 'oh well,seeing as we're both here.may as well give it a try'.

Seems doubly odd when there are plenty of TVs on the site who seem quite comfortable in who they are,not trying to pull the wool over anyones eyes.

If you can't be honest and open on a site like this,where can you be.

Some couples profiles are the same. Single guys posing as a couple. You learn to spot them over time

I don't want to jinx it but I've been really fortunate to not come across a fake profile. Or at least I've not been aware of it? I'm very fussy with who I speak to before ever agreeing to meet

My point was that I'm shocked people do that, you'll get more success being genuine than trying to fool people

The suspicious profiles are pretty easy to spot, don't let it irk you OP, just pass them by and if you believe you have strong proof that they're fake report them.

If something or someone looks too good to be true then do a little digging. Use tools like tineye reverse image search and google image search to see if the pictures they're using on their profile have been taken off the internet.

If a picture comes back with 0 results it's more likely to be genuine. It's not fool proof but simple questions can out fakes. Don't indulge in sex chat or give them wank fodder, most genuine people can meet socially just for a coffee or use the sites new feature to send an instant direct picture.

Could ask them for a picture holding a random object or a specific picture.

New ones sprout up all the time. I have seen a few however that have been on for quite a length of time. Old or new they're mostly not verified.

Always check they are verified ,been here long time no verification is dodgy and ask to speak with them on phone ,say they can call you

when the clearly don't ...

Example the one I got saying, they know me because they recognise my tattoo

so now I have removed my pics from public photos ...

I just blocked the profile or I will probably just end up getting a cheeky mouth on me and piss them off....

And pissed off guy normally means abusive updates etc

I have had them offer to veri me if I veri them which is a bit daft because who in their right mind would invent a profile like mine?
