"It's a routine operation that alters peoples lives for the better. Well worth having done. Generally people are in for approx 3 days. Physio the day after the operation because it's important to keep moving. Accept all the pain relief you are offered because the less pain you have the more you are able to move which is good. Be thankful it's not a knee replacement because the pain after those is worse. If you had a pre op then they did that early, they are usually done much closer in time to the actual operation so that the swabs taken (to check for mrsa etc) are more relevant so i would imagine you might have another pre op. Good luck x" Seems you were right.Due to my blood pressure being unstable Ive got another pre op in Sept.So hopefully the meds will have fixed the problem by then. | |||
