She's a pervert and knew what she was saying , why else did her nurse say she shouldn't say that.? She could of said she had dementia but she didn't and seemed embarrassed herself.
People with dementia are often unaware or not accepting that they have it. I would not expect a carer or nurse to say to someone "sorry, she has dementia" in front of the person suffering as that would be a) thoughtless and a tad patronising and b) could trigger an aggressive episode.
I work with the elderly. Men and women with dementia can be a bit saucy. They may be old but they still feel them kind of feelings, even if they are no longer able to perform.
That being said, she could have just fancied a go on you. Who knows!

Who says she even has dementia could it be that's shes just a dirty ol bag trying her luck down the park. Lucky for her i brushed it of mainly.
