Im sat here planning a launch event at the weekend waiting for delivery on stuff that has cost me thousands , not one of the things ive ordered has arrived on time, several items cant be guaranteed delivery by the event!! Today no-one answered emails or messages til after 5 am, some still havent.

Maybe i should have gone against my usual practice of buying from English companies? Do you buy British?

I'm a capitalist and a pragmatist.

I buy the highest quality at the cheapest price I can possibly get.

I'll only accept differently if I need to 'build a relationship' between the two parties. i.e. extraneous circumstances.

For example; I like to buy from the local bakery, although they are going out of business even if they don't know it yet. (recently sandwiched between a Tesco and Sainsburys...)

It's up to me what I do with my money, but I don't accept for a minute this Buy Irish / Buy British crap.

Anybody who does that, hasn't learnt the first basic stuff in Econ 101 or bog standard commonsense from Year 1.

A lot of companies phone their clients on Mondays to check up on the week's orders. As well as chasing up messages which arrived over the weekend and Summer holidays, they would be quite pushed to deal with telephone calls on Mondays.

Try again Tomorrow.

I worked today... I work every Monday except holidays. One thing for sure though... I won't be answering messages before 5am

lol

I'm sure tomorrow will be better and the launch will be fine. You can't have a proper launch without stress and panic leading up to it.

Good luck with it all x

Angus & Findhorn

Depends what I am buying.

If labour, I would go Eastern European. Had had nothing but excellent work done by hard grafting people. The local tradesmen were a nightmare.
