Cut an paste...

Today I got accused of cut and pasting a message to a woman who said her "friend" received the same message, I proved her wrong and she was so angry and then blocked me as well as being rude. People say men on here can be rude but that was some serious stress she was having. Later on I sent a message to another lady "won't name them" who replied to what was a lovely message saying I've a bad reputation. I'm genuinely dumbfounded. I'm relatively new, a genuine guy and I suppose in the early days I did maybe cut an paste some messages but I've learnt from that. What are your thoughts on bad mouthing round the site, rude responses and in general people with bad attitudes. There's some lovely people here and I do feel for women who get bombarded but I feel a bit targeted. Anyway it got my back up....

A bad reputation in what sense??!!

I don't see the problem with a cut and paste message. The great majority of profiles have absolutely nothing which differentiates them from any other.

Consider a cut and paste message an extension of, and an invitation to view the profile..,

Bad reputation in the sense that when I asked her she wouldn't reply. It's so frustrating as I genuinely don't get annoyed with people but today I was close lol

I've had more replies from cut and paste style messages than the "thoughtful" style ones.

People are asses in real life, put them on the internet and they'll act the same/worse. All you can do it move on

If you think people not replying to you indicates you've a bad reputation then Id say it's not quite so. People don't have to reply and even if you think it's polite to then you need to rethink that. Plenty of women get ridiculous amounts of messages and simply don't have the time to reply to each and every person, plus some will take it as an invite to continue the conversation. Move on OP and don't get hung up over it

I wasn't saying she had a bad reputation, she told me I had one for no reason whatsoever or some bad press I know nothing of, when asked she wouldn't reply to the question of "why I had a bad reputation. I understand your other points but you missed my point on that one.
