Has anyone else had this done were they have been sent a friend request after mailing someone who has not even opened the mail, accepted them then soon after had the user delete and block you?

Don't understand it myself or see the point of leading someone on like that!!!!!

They got a look at your friends only pics, didn't like what they saw, so fucked off. People on the internet are harsh but you'd do well to get used to it, really.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

That's why I wait until they go offline before I accept and have a peruse. So when I delete them as friends they're none the wiser, and don't then feel they have to complain.

Just found it a bit rude and annoying, can accept a polite no.

I think a block is a pretty unequivocal 'no', myself.

But they get a message to say friend request accepted on updates don't they even if you delete immediately?? "

But they'll think its an error because we're not friends. Muahahahahahaaaaa....

"Just found it a bit rude and annoying, can accept a polite no."

There are all sorts of reasons why people don't say a polite 'no'. I'm not saying I approve - but there are reasons.

This is a pretty common occurrence....which is why I said it's best to just get used to it. There's no point in letting it annoy you because it's how people tend to operate on anonymous internet sites. Whether that's a bad thing is another debate entirely.

I'd sent them a mail that they'd not even opened and sent me a friend request

Maybe they wanted to see your friends pics before they responded.

Not that it's happened much but the first thing I do is hide my friends only pics before accepting friend request then slowly reintroduce them.

They're not mainly looking for lifelong friends but to check whether a shag may work. Do it your way

Pic collector timewasters. We never accept a requeat unless there's been a f2f meet or at least a good and interesting message exchange beforehand where some sort of connection is established. A wink, one line follow up and then a friend request usually means a time waster or pic collector - at least in our experience. So usually don't accept.
