Guys ask me and then don't like the answer. I've met about 400 guys socially but only fucked 5 of those and one of those I was seeing for 18 months.

Number of meets is irrelevant. You should not be asked about past. We are all here for the moment. I'd avoid anyone that' asks too many questions.

The answer is the more meets you have had the more they think you are easy and will have sex with them but when or if your number is higher then their actual number (because they will lie) they think you are promiscuous. Can't win either way so just tell them it's none of their business.

A ballpark figure is probably fine. Then you can offer a margin of error.

I ask all my meets this question because I'm trying to get the statistical standard deviation for the number of partners for swingers on fab...
