While bored at work I think I found that a size 10 was a male 32" waist.

Get a measuring tape. Many online stores give measurement guides. If I'm shopping online I do this myself. Just check what size you measure and pick the corresponding size garment. If it looks like you are in between sizes pick the bigger one.

If you plan on wearing breast forms don't forget to measure yourself while wearing them.
