Anyone have any ideas of things to do, places to go/ eat and drink etc!

Ooh there's lots .. Beaumaris Castle, Anglesey Sea Zoo.. lots of tea rooms and pubs. You'll have a great time - just have a wander and you'll find loads of places to eat to drink.

Id say rhosneigor. On sunny day you'll feel like you're in Home and Away.

Or newborough and walk out to the island, or church island, or the islands in the strait (walk along Belgian causeway). Can you tell I like islands??!

Google the lot.

Otherwise the lighthouses off Holyhead island are a good walk and you might find someone to show you the cottage William and Kate lived in.

See if you can get Rimmer to give you a guided tour

The coastal path from red wharf takes you up the coast to moelfre or down to penmon both have charm and gorgeous open costal views with great tea shops either side.

Moelfre has the lifeboat day early august (I think).

Depends what you like doing but newbrough has a fantastic beach and pine woods, further up on aberfaw you can pretty much go naked as nobody ever walks that far up the beach (its about 3 miles of beach).

The boat tour of the menai straights is excellent or you could just opt for going up the marquees rather large column

I stayed on penmon with my parents 20 years ago went to bangor and nearby went on a little boat trip around the black rocks, and saw puffin and black guillemot, plus other seabirds from the coast a nice area in deed.
