I arranged to meet a very manly looking Marine from POF a few years back. Chiselled jaw, muscular body, brooding eyes etc. When we met he had a voice like Lily Savage with a lisp. Still a nice evening, but burst my bubble.

I fell in love with Quasimodo's and Shrek's hybrid in the 80s just on hearing his voice and the words that came out of his mouth. We spoke every day for months before we met and then had a thing for almost a year.

I have turned men down for a meet because I didn't like their voice.

I now hold off on the telephone check to stop myself cutting off meets.

I recently had a meet and I had never even seen a picture of him. I was attracted to the banter, the funny conversation, the intilligence and the way he always made me laugh and smile. On meeting him, I was attracted to every bit of him, but the eyes definitely melted me.
