First meet Nerves

Recently meet a couple, nice couple, meeting to play on the cards (first play), arranging a meet and I'm (Mr) is a bit hesitant, and expressed being nervous to them but said I'd be fine.

Seams like they couldn't run away fast enough.

What the fcuk, nerves are only natural, right?

Just fcuked me off.

Had high hopes

They might have had experiences of others who said 'they're nervous' and they've subsequently backed out at the last minute.

Maybe they don't want to hand hold nervous people.

Maybe it's neither of those and it's just a case of shit happens and don't worry about it.

Either way, there's not much you can do about it now except to move on to the next people.
