Weird shrinking

Okay this is a strange one. I was washing a set of trousers and somehow only one of the trouser legs shrunk. The rest of it is Normal.

Has anyone even heard of this before? And any solutions? I would rather not throw them away .

You could have one of your legs surgically shortened to fit the trousers...

Or....

You could have the bottom of one leg tattooed in the colour of the defective trouser to camouflage it's Short-Cummings.
