Ok you are out for a meal you have a drink but when it comes to ordering food do you go for the healthy option or the chips?

New ones just boiled with butter , lol or jacket ... but alot can be nasty in the pubs sure thay make them hours before nothing like my home made one ...... not a lover of chips only from realy good fish and chips shops.

I tend to just have a salad with stuff like gammon or steak. Never order chips. But if i had to make a potato choice it always is jacket potato

Just if theyre made from scratch - cant stand frozen restaurant chips.

m a chip fan and experiment a lot to get the perfect one. Best result so far is cutting them chunky steaming then, fluffing up the outside then deep frying.

You still can't beat a skinny chip in dripping though!

Ive seen this condiment its called malt salt its like a fine salt flavoured with malt vinegar and you get the taste without the sogginess if you tend to be heavy handed like me - give it a try you may like it too.

i have to admit i like a hime made fat one. thats juzst my oppinion. and isnt a refference to any other member

Well youre welcome to them. Liked them as a kid just not as an adult. Not keen on potatoes unless mashed or home baked, in or out of skin.

Chips from our local Chinese are brill but usually make wedges from a red potato tossed in veg oil, freshly ground black pepper & salt. Mk 7 for 20 mins & bingo. Sod ya frozen cardboard crap!

What's wrong with chips? Unless you're diabetic they don't pose any health problems. If you think they make you fat do more excersise.

I have them once or twice a week and am still loosing weight.
