Ok so I quite enjoy painting, I've done several unusual paintings and decorating in my flat, I'd really like to paint a posed figure on my bedroom and bathroom doors.

Problem is, I don't know any women I'd be comfortable asking to pose so I could take a pic of them to paint from in the style I want to do.

I could of course just nick any old picture off the net or any bodies profile and they would be none the wiser! But that's not for me, and I need a certain type of picture.

What I would like is, a picture of a woman posed in front of a closed door, for me to work from and get proportions right. Doesn't have to be naked, can be underwear or tight fitting clothes, so I can emulate the curves, natural shadows ect.

Would any of you ladies be willing to help and provide me with such a picture?

....yes, I was wondering if it would impinge on the location of your painting. I'm aware and realise a door knob would actually be ON the door. Sorry I wasn't so specific.

Yeah I did, I love Mondrian style paintings and did my own version on my front room wall 13ft x 8ft, 8hrs planning, 8hrs painting colour, 4hrs masking and 6hrs painting black lines.

I'm terrible at free hand drawing, hence me wanting a pic to work from so I can do grid lines

Found some motivation today through all my emotions, and with thanks to a friend, I've painted my bedroom door! It's not as bright as I wanted it, but I'm crap at colour mixing and blending, and most of it was done with a 2" brush!

About to upload some pics. Eeek!

I think What I've done on my door is acceptable for my kids to see, anything more lifelike would be inappropriate? They don't go in my bedroom though so should be fine
