Profiles. Are they worth writing?

Is it just me or have people given up on reading profiles ? Single guys I'm looking at you here.

My partner has her own profile and there are a few things on there that people clearly aren't reading and send her messages, do they really think that they are that special, she will change her mind and meet them ?

Ladies how do you deal with the constant messages where your profile clearly hasn't been read ?

My mrs has the same issue, guys should have a well worded profile cause women do read it, as for the girls, they may as well not bother cause as you say, most guys never bother to read them.

Pointless really, there are some very respectful guys on there but very few. I also wonder how much luck they have.

It's all on her profile, the problem is not many read it.

I read every profile of the people I'm interested in. I don't see why people wouldn't, your just wasting your own time? You won't know if they are compatible.

I (mrs) tell them to go back and read profile, then message me again.. and usually just tell them no anyway, because they didn't do it right in the first place.. very mean I know, but somehow get a little devilish pleasure from it.. mwahah

I do believe articulation in a message, the ability to read and take an interest in your potential playmate, is very important!

I always read a profile. If I don't meet their requirements I don't bother them.

Yes, it is.

The amount of men who don't read them simply makes the guys who do stand out. Or at least that my impression.

And for the odd new message I get it also gives me an instant insight into that person.

However I do waffle on so it probably hasn't helped my situation

Why should I write one? Chances are as it's so clearly stated by most women couples on here.

A deleted message means not interested. But that doesn't give a male any type of feedback. He sees it as being ignored and his profile hasn't even been veiwed as your all in stealth anyway.

It's a viscous circle of people telling others what they should do on here.

But you do have one. And you're hardly struggling for meets by the looks of thing. I imagine a blank profile and little else would have meant a far different fab experience.
