Boxset is on all 4 just now

been watching it again this week and honestly cant believe i used to sneakily watch this as a kid or that some of it was allowed on tv

Was pretty much porn in its day and stuart was 30 while nathan was only 15 ... cant help thinking if it had been about a heterosexual relationship there would have been outrage at him being a pedophile

Probably not but that doesnt bother me i love rewatching old series again ... definitely struck me as a bit creepy this time round though

Wow, that long ago yeh I found it hot to watch. There was a similar thing on last year wasn't there based in Manchester again? But at the time it was proper shock tv. Desensitised to it now

the issues have been covered in EastEnders and currently in coronation st so I'm told , no outrage to my knowing , is there ??

I dont watch either so i dont know but i cant image either would be quite as sexually explicit or graphic with what is meant to be a minor

I know there isnt much difference between 15 and 16 but i guess they campaigned because 16 brings it equal with heterosexual consent and i dont see why they should be different (or id like to hope it was that rather than wanting to sleep with younger boys)

But i guess id probably still feel a bit at the thought of a 30 year old man and 16 year old girl despite the legality of it

Interesting facts, the guy who acted as young gay Nathan, as since gone on to play hard men in hollywood for many years now and he is actually married to an actress. And of course the writer Mr Davies wrote the new Doctor Who series

Have you watched Cucumber? Check out the series. It is a modern take on middle aged gay life and as a tragic story line. And again most of the actors are Heterosexuals. And Mr R Davies wrote it
