Does anybody know if you can be allergic to them?

I've had one on most of the week now i look like I've got some crazy red panda eyes.

It all depends what type if respirator. Is it a civilian one or a used military one. If its military then whilst training the powders used on it could cause a reaction. Also could have been used in cs gas chamber. Im assuming its a civilian one tho.
