Nice one OP! Hope you enjoy it as much as I have. I was in a similar position starting back at the gym after years of not going this time last year. It has been well worth it though

I got myself so worked before I first went to the gym I nearly walked away and didn't do in....so glad I did,I can't get there as often as I'd like and do things at my own pace and apart from a couple of young lads having a giggle everyone else has been great and I've nearly lost a stone and a half in 5/6 weeks so all good.

Well done op hope you have a great time

it was me first day so i will be back and update here

i was on the treadmill and i thought fuck i will not be able to go mad fast here, then the trainer points out only go slow over longer rather than mad bursts as it pays more dividents

Well done OP takes a lot of determination and strength of character to step out of you comfort zone ... but those places that make you uncomfortable, are what make you stronger.

I started back at the gym about a month ago, I'm enjoying it. Just started to add some core exercises into my routine as need to tone my stomach. I started off with 2 sessions a week, now doing 3 and at 67 minutes each I'm pleased with that. I was very fit even though I was fat. But had a change of family circumstances that forced me to stop. I'm glad to be able go again. X
