Travelling

Well we have had no ADSL connection for almost a month, and have made a lot of calls to the technical support department at our ISP. Finally someone there decides the problem is our router, and suggests we buy a new one!

So we deicide it's time to change supplier. Mainly because we can get a free router this way, but also because we are disgusted with the poor level of service from thier technical support people. So we phone up for an MAC ( migration authorisation code ) and spend 10 minutes talking to the most helpful person you could ever wish to speak to.

It's actually quite worrying that the only competent person we have spoken to at the ISP is the guy that arranges things for people cancelling thier contract.

Absolutely, but you do have to go through the procedure though i.e. mobile phone, write and canceled, they will call you to say when it will be closed and ask why, then you ask for all the goodies and usually get them

all over the place

why do you need a mac number for a adsl shift ..unless your moving a mobile as well .

orange are good especially if your with them for mobile .8 mg unlimited + second voip number with free 01-02 numbers and free calls to 100 countries.phone plugs directly into router so you can dial or receive calls when pc is not on. depnds on plan but is 10 quid per month
