Saw U2 for the 7th time on Saturday and they were awesome!

So many possibilities... Energy and vibrancy would have to be either the Prodigy or Kasabian.

The band that knocked my socks off for pure singing and polished performance live was the Eurythmics. Solo act was George Micheal.

The biggest grin is still from watching Reef live. Just feel good awesomeness

Probably the best and most entertaining live for me were either Rush or Iron Maiden.

Special mentions to Foo Fighters and Therapy though...

Im not sure I can answer! Ive liked different gigs fir different reasons!

Kasabian are my favourite band so they should really take top spot but my most fun gig was Barenaked Ladies. I like them both for different reasons!

Blown away music wise was Simon Fowler and Oscar Harrison at a small acoustic gig.

There and to the left a bit

Have been lucky enough to see some awesome bands live, the most recent being Green Day in Hyde Park who blew my socks off completely!!

Top 7 gigs ever in no particular order:

- Green Day, Hyde Park 2017 - Two and a half hours of sheer entertainment

- Madness, Finsbury Park 1992 - Their first gig back after being split for 6 years and an emotional one for all concerned.

- Biffy Clyro, Belfast 2016 - We were on the barrier and the band blew the roof off

- Muse, Etihad Stadium 2014 (I think) - Simply stunning show, brilliant set list, fantastic stage show.

- The Beat, Hammersmith Palais, 1982 - They didn't stop from the moment they hit the stage to the time they left it

- U2, Don Valley Stadium 2010 (again I think) - We were lucky enough to get into the inner circle bit of the stage so saw them up close and personal

- Madness, Dublin Castle back room 2005 - To see the band you have loved for 30 years play the back room of the pub they started off in has to be pretty special and it was

There are a load more I could name besides too!!

Can't beat live music, whether that be pub bands or a stadium gig

...Up on the Downs

Zeppelin, Floyd, Genesis, Stones, Bowie, Thin Lizzy....how the hell could I choose lol!

Actually, I prefer gigs where I can dance and loaf about rather than be confined to numbered seats anyway, so I probably had most fun at smaller gigs.

Belton

Too many to list....these are probably the top three ..

Peter Hook and the light 2016 Ynot festival...legend..blew tent out of the field

Tragically Hip 1992(i think) Borderline ....canada's finest

Marmozets 2010 1 in 12 Club Bradford.....they were all just 16-17 and the drummer about 12...probably best new band seen ever!!

But tonight will be special...Public Service Broadcasting @ roughtrade nottingham...small intimate and going to be epic

Recently Dreadzone - so much bass through their PA that I thought my body was going to dissolve.

Saw DJ Shadow about 10 years ago at the ICA in London, awesome combination of sounds and visuals.

Supergrass at the Islington academy, just a lot of fun and cracking tunes.

Been to see so many gigs I forget a lot but also seen some really great bands.
