What do you naughty people prefer a wink so you can check them out before you msg, or straight into a message?

Well I'm not a naughty person (I'm very good I'll have you know!) but either works for me. I won't 'wink' first but if I get a wink I might wink back and then the ball is in their court!

You can't beat a decent well crafted message though can you? New ones from new people are rare but always nice!

I no longer accept winks, simply because I've found it difficult to understand exactly what they mean anymore.

I used to think that they were intended as a bit of an ice-breaker. A way of someone letting you know they like your profile / pictures and are interested and leaving it up to you whether or not to reciprocate.

Thing is, I've responded to some who have winked at me only to be completely ignored and sometimes blocked and you end up thinking WTF???

We never send or respond to winks. If we contact someone we'll read their profile first then send a message and we expect the same. Nearly all the winks we get come from people who haven't read what we're looking for and it's annoying checking them out only to find out that we're clearly not compatible for some perfectly obvious reason.

Straight to a message, winks are flattering and fun but no real indicator that the person wishes to engage in conversation. They can be sent by slip of the fingers.

Prefer a well thought out few lines of introduction, etc.

I don't mind. First thing I do is click on the profile. If there is nothing on it eg...man looking for fun fun fun.

We are not going to meet. If their profile looks compatible, I'll reply or message.

I don't look at my winks ...i tend to discover that someone's winked at me from looking at there profile

(Says when they winked and when last chatted)
