Would you hate to have ?

i say this because my mate is sooooooooo sick of her, s she is changing it in two weeks time.

she is a pratt in name only you understand.

she changing it to prate , i reckon its just as bad as it sounds like some posh fooker is saying pratt .

go figure

Kate's dad was Polish so she's got a surname worth 50 points in Scrabble.

My surname is a famous brand of sunglasses.

Never been a huge fan of mine, it was pretty easy to turn into something not so pleasant while young and at school, and some still rather immature people these days too. It's also one that is always mispronounced a bit like Mrs Bucket in... was it one foot in the grave?

Have to say I hate my middle name even more though, damn parents!

the way they name their kids these days gives no thought to them growing up.

My sisters first married name was bird and her hubby wanted son called richard. sister says noooooo he will be dicky bird...

There was a guy at school with a first name that should have been a surname. He was called Jackson Johnson if I remember correctly.

Id hate the Surname 'Clarke'

My mum named me after Kimberly Clarke the toilet roll dispensers in public area's etc as when she was pregnant with me i used to lay heavy on her bladder and she constantly needed to pee..

If i had the surname to match she'd constantly remind me of it. Gutted i wasn't called Kimberly because of the African Diamond mines though.. she could have lied

Or welsh - where would the welsh be without their Prices, Preeces, Pritchards, Bevans, Bowens and so on and on? We tend to forget these days that patrynomics were pretty common in Wales (and to a lesser extent England) as well. Most welsh surnames are first names, albeit sometimes a little modified - often by the posh family members or by cloth eared clerks...

My paternal grandmother's full name was the same as her mother's married name, which was the same as her mother's maiden name - all of them a well known welsh patrynomic. It's why the welsh have such a passion for nicknames....

I love my surname actually. It's quite rare and I'd guess anyone else that has would be a relative if I dig deep enough. When we got married a lot of Sirens friends joked that she was only marrying me for my cool surname.

There is a well known Aussie actress with the same surname Cate ..

Please don't say it on here though.
