"The year 2000... the year we both left school

Me and the wife feel we should have travelled more as well before A levels, Uni and then kids but we console ourselves that we'll do it when the kids piss off!

Prestonish

1986/7.

I'd do A-levels then a degree instead of the shitty b/tech I took (and aborted half-way through) - but more importantly I'd stop my mum going to work on the day she had an accident that left her severely disabled for the rest of her life!

I'd also nag my dad to start checking his prostate and hopefully avoid the cancer that killed him a couple of decades later!

Sorry mine isn't much fun op! Xx

2005. Finished high school, Liverpool won the CL, Eng won the ashes, had my first proper gf. Good times

Or maybe around 2009-ish. Reckon looks wise that's when I peaked so should have made more of it!

Probably around the year 2005-2006

I would have insisted we got a second opinion from another doctor after my dad complained for a year or so of back pain/that never went away. Turned out it was lung cancer and he died 2 years later.

1983. My uncle went on holiday to Spain and died suddenly and unexpectedly aged 33. I was only 9 but i'd been a bit of a cow before he left and he'd told me off.

The morning i found out he'd died i was sleeping in his bed down my nans, keeping it warm for him.

My nan and gramp were never the same after that, a part of them died too.

2003. I basically partied for a year, blew a ridiculous amount of cash, upset some people who only had my best intentions and was a bit of an all round gobshite.

Stockport Centre

2011. Nothing specific but my third child was born. So I could make the best of the years following but know nothing I did would stop the kids I adore from being around.

There and to the left a bit

1983 which was the year I stupidly ended my Naval career before it had even started.

Or 2001 so I could do a few things very differently from how I did at the time.

Well either I just got another couple of grey hairs at that thought...or you're two years too young to be here!!

It might sound soppy but I go back to when I was 7....to around 6 months before my mother died....as I have very little recollection of her.

London

1994

Year before I joined the army. I left a crap college course, lived in a bedsit, partied incredibly hard, laughed a lot, house music and clubbing was truly fabulous.

Only thing I'd change was the dingbat I was bonking at the time.

West Wales

1979, I'd tell myself at 17 not to be such a dick & sign on the dotted for a nine year stint in the RAF.
