the price of bangers and mash

hi all just watched Eastenders and is it me or does £7.75 for bangers and mash in a back street cafe in albert square sound a bit pricy ....its bangers and mash man

That's a load of old codswallop cos I ave bangers and mash regular with me cabby mates when I'm darn the east end and it only costs me a couple a sovs and that includes a cup of rosy Lee as well innit

fish and chips at our village chippy is £6.50 so £7.50 to sit in a cafe seems ok to me.

As always, it depends what you get for your money, so if it's 3 fat bangers, pile of mash and onion gravy, that'll do for me

The Town by The Cross

Years ago I paid £5.00 for ONE sausage for a starter.....

It costs a fiver for a kids bangers and mash in the pub now.

It's easily £7.00 prob more for an adult sausage and mash. Tons more in a restaurant in the evening.

The biggest rip off is when some snobby eatery want to charge you a tenner for a platefull of potato peelings, under the guise of "spiced potato skins"

It's pig food, for fuck sakes

thanks its does Tammie's head when i notice things like that she says why don't you just watch it and stop dissecting it lol

I think its because were from walsall in the west midlands they know we are all poor lol

and i can imagine that Heston blumenthal serving pig food up lol
