After reading "do you tell people your real name" thread, got me thinking (i know before anyone says, me thinking not a good idea). But im terrible for remembering peoples names, in work I deal with alot of reps and some ive know for yrs, but can I rem their names.. no not for the life of me. Tell me a telephone number I will remember.

Does anyone else find this?

Hubby the worse one, always asking me to remind him!

And it even more confusing for his poor brain when they use different name on site and then when you meet find they are called something completely different!

im the same i do discos i can remember what song they like when they walk in and put it on for them but cant remember there names

Between remembering song lyrics and guitar chords and solos - my brains already full although I remember faces ok just not names. Not too helpful when most fem profiles are pics of boobs - although lifting someone's t shirt and saying - oh hiya Gail !! Can be a bit hazardous - if it's not Gail!!

Once knackered a wee role play thing, names were a crucial part of the fun, i was to be "Brian" for the nite,lol.

The wife of couple had heard the name "T", knew of me etc, but never met and to play the role play,simple enough, just dont bloomin call meeself "T" at any time, marvelous!!

But she kept nipping out from the venue we were in to have a cig and it was busy Edinburgh at nite and kept gettin chatted up by guys outside and coming back in with whoever they were and yes, introductions, "Hi im, oh hi im"

Im number dyslexic so phone numbers are a no no (took me 11 years ta remember mine)

I have a terrible memory for names and faces even to the odd point of forgetting my daughters name Occasionally and walking past my sister in the street

Sometimes wonder how the hell i manage lol

Have actually been for a memory test with the drs though and past wi flying colours so must be summat there i suppose xx
