We can never know but I think Maria Callas and Beniamino Gigli were pretty good. Alison Moyet and Beth Hart aren't too shabby. Who knows whats to come?

"Whitney Houston before the drugs ruined it."

+1 saw her live twice - once before it all went to crap and her last tour before she died which was just awful. For a vocalist she was pretty special until it all went wrong!

For British talent - Beverley Knight is very talented but much underrated and never got the fame she deserved!

Way too hard to choose one, especially with there being so many different styles of singers as well.

List of top singers must include the likes of Elvis, Freddie Mercury, Chester Bennington (Linkin Park), Ivan Moody (5FDP), Adele, amongst others.

I like Beverley Knight too and completely agree. Her voice packs a punch and likewise never understood her lack of fame.
