What things do people say that piss you off?

When people are talking about something bad that's happened and there like "oh my god I was there like the day before happened"

Yea? I was in Hastings last week, thank god I wasn't there in 1066 eh?

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

To be fair, I was actually on the ferry that left Zeebrugge just before the Herald of Free Enterprise.

I don't like it when someone questions a fact. I say 'its raining', they say 'Is it?' No, I made it up, you noodle.

Or people saying 'so I turned around and said...'. In my mind, they're spinning like tops while they speak.

People who use text speak in their actual speech, such as saying 'LOL'. It's bloody irritating enough when written for god's sake.

And actually, 'how are you?' pisses me off too - it's such a pointless niceity as most don't give a damn how you really are and look rather horrified if you tell them!

"The NVQ

sorry this isn't worth the paper it's written on.

Non Valid Qualification.

that's most qualifications, including degrees I think lol

Did that hard hat and hi-vis help you in graduating from the school of hard-knocks? No it made me want to start a vary large social justice campaign and a degree in memes

To be fair I think a degree in memes is more useful than one in English Literature in 2017. They are all useless I know successful people with them that say the same, just because I have a degree doesn't mean I have the first clue

I mean that's a bit of an exaggeration. I couldn't do my job without having done my degree. And I'm sure that most people STEM field's would also disagree. "

Whilst those are fields that requires studying as a job, I'm a keen scientist myself, and studied it in college. But that doesn't mean they are going to be good at their jobs just like anyone else that's why I say it isn't worth the paper it's written on.

I think if someone has put in 3/4 years of work and study, had their work graded by peers and professionals and then their piece of paper reads "First Class" grade. Then it carries a little weight as to the skill of that individual.

It's not about the qualification, it's about the skills and knowledge you learn in order to recieve the qualification.

Mostly agree. My degree was by and large useless from a learning point of view (IT which moves so fast it was all out of date). No way I would have left with £50k debts of today, definitely not worth it. Would earn more spending 4 years in work and climbing ladder sooner.

That said is an accolade that can never be taken away from me so I'm kind of proud of it. But is by no way guarantee of success unless going for certain specialist disciplines

"When people - this is on here specifically - comment on a topic they do not care or know about.

Thread: Which is your favorite Game of Thrones episode?

Person #1: I don't watch it

Person #2: Never watched a second

...

Just don't fucking comment. How does your complete non-opinion matter to the discussion. You weren't being addressed personally you narcissistic asshole.

Phew...

I've been saving up that one for a while.

People who say they're just being honest .... right before or after they have been offensive in some way. You can be honest without being offensive.

" Its sooo annoying it LITERALLY boils my blood"

This!!

Also, and as daft as it is, it pisses me off when people use 'too' instead of 'to' or 'to' instead of 'too'.

And don't even get me started on there, their and they're!!!

Suffolk - East Anglia

It annoys me when, for example, I'm in a shop and a shop assistant says "are you alright there?"

Of course I'm f****** alright, I just need some service.

The other one is when someone asks, "what was your name?"

Have I died and gone to heaven? Are you Saint Peter? I'm still alive, my name IS........

Rant over.
