Feeling down, paying solicitors to see my son as my ex has stopped me yet again, fighting for him is making me skint and feeling worthless, work is shite and my mates all have better things to do than to listen to my sad story, anyone good at listening

I second that,I presume she thinks she has a good reason to stop you seeing your son,I think it's incredibly cruel if she's just being spiteful. I hated my ex when we first split,but I certainly wouldn't keep him from his children,not that my children would have allowed that anyway.

It's jealousy, because he wants to be at my house all the time and never wants to go home, he is autistic and has meltdowns at home time, I already have a court order to see him which cost just shy of 7 grand, so now Iv got to take her back to court for breaching that order and to get the power to arrest if she tries to stop me again

aww must make it hard I know what its like dealing with a child with additional needs and the meltdowns they go through so using him as a weapon against you is very unfair on him and you xx

So sorry to hear this.

My brother had the same thing but couldn't find the money to pay a solicitor when the ex stopped him seeing his own son who is around 7 years old so it's not like he doesn't know who his dad is as he saw him regularly and that boy loves his dad so much. My brother is gutted but angry also at the ex. There is nothing he can do and never stops thinking about him. The time will come when the son finds his dad and Maybe he will resent his mother for not allowing him.( She remarried and the new hubby had to be called dad).

My brother has been trying to move on and still enjoy his life.

I really think you should maybe speak to a friend or someone close to you who has a listening ear.

It's hard not seeing him, hearing him say daddy look at what I built or daddy let's play trains, I miss his cuddles too, she is a spiteful cow and is going to get what she deserves in court, she will probably get a warning for breaching the original court order and hopefully I get the power to arrest added on to it so next time she might think twice
