Think they try and charge extra if your guest sleeps over

Scunthorpe

Not tried Premier Inn but Travel Lodge don't seem to care as long as the room is paid for.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I always state that the room will be used by two people when I book. It doesn't change the room rate and avoids a problem.

Nope, never had any kind of problems.

Mind you,it does put a big daft grin on my face when reception gives you that 'oh yeah what are you three up to?' look They've probably seen it a million times over so don't worry about it.

I've had visitors at several Premier Inns - usually fine. Some larger rooms have a sofabed and can accommodate 3 people.

Only one I've ever had a problem with, was Norwich. Guard on the door, refused to allow my friends in.

If we'd just sauntered in, like we were all guests (using my door card), he wouldnt have known any different. Bloody jobsworth.

Hillside desolate

I've had guests in a few premier inns, and also been the guest in a few, no problems at all. Just saunter in like you're meant to be there and nobody cares

We've been for an event meet in a pre-booked room but non of us, foursome, had planned staying the night. We went in together with one door card-key and left a few hours later together with the same fella on the desk. A quick wink and said goodnight to him with a big grin on our faces. He just gave us a cheeky smile back.
