What were you like as a teenager?

Going off Bunny's Teen Tunes thread

I was obsessed with Rocky Horror and Stephen King novels and, slightly later on, James Herbert, Dean Koontz & Richard Laymon novels.

I was also quite punky from the age of 15, when I really discovered bands like Greenday & the Ramones, and lived in pink Converse, black jeans, either a red and black or pink and white striped Ramones t shirt, and a black and pink striped hoodie and Jack Skellington bags... so an alternative bisexual teenage girl.

I lived in black as a teenager. .. think thd only other colour was blue jeans.

I went our with mates but for company and to dance not to get d*unk. Yes I had thd odd row with me mum but what teenager doesn't.

Think having to help out at home as a teenager made a difference to my outlook. My mum was a carer for her mum and my terminally ill aunt lived with us a lot.

My sister is nearly 5 years younger than me and was a nightmare teenager

I was pretty good really. My rebellious side was a heavy rocker, but my hair wasn't very long and my jacket was a bit too well embroidered (by my own fair hand). I was however deceitful in a number of ways and a secret smoker. I had a good heart though and did voluntary work with those 'less advantaged' than me. I had a reputation as a bit of a Lothario but that was more malicious rumour than fact because as a result I didn't have much luck with girls until I left school. I never really explored my sexuality properly (good Catholic upbringing) and still suffer remnants of the 'guilt' that plagued me then.

There's a lot I'd change if I could do it again. A lot of bad decisions that lead me down some wrong paths.

But some of those bad experiences do make up who I am now, so who knows what the outcome would be.

Bit of a twat. Underachiever, to the annoyance of my mother. Too much of a know-it-all who didn't actually know all that much really. Lacking in any real identity. Awful fashion sense. Jealous of my big sister for various reasons. Bit of a loner. Geeky. Bit overweight except in summer when I lived at the local outdoor swimming pool. Desperate to grow up to the extent that I probably wished away too much of my youth. Stupid haircut.
