I wear them for reading and alot of people have to wear them .Glasses look nice and it's not always a fashion statement.

Worn them for years. I stopped worrying about what people thought of them shortly afterwards.

As I'm tall and slim, I fitted the geek profile to a tee. It appeals to some, not for others.

I rarely wear my glasses these days as I prefer my contact lenses.

This isn't due to aesthetic considerations either, I just do a lot of activities where my glasses got knocked off or damaged.

Neither really.

The majority of my family wear glasses, so they're just normal to me.

I need glasses or contact lenses so I can see

In fact my eyesight is so bad that I can't see to put make up on without them. That means I always wear contact lenses for a night out. Very few meets will have seen me with glasses on.

I disagree. I look shit in every single pair of glasses I've ever tried on. Even sunglasses. I've yet to find a pair that look great. I'm the same with hats. They all look ridiculous on me.
