Anyone who's driven out over the Somerset Levels will know how narrow some of the roads are there, many an ancient track barely wide enough to squeeze a vehicle down.

It was on one of these lanes yesterday where i happened upon a jogger, and a delightful young thing she was too. On my approach i assumed she would hear me coming, the old Hilux is a bit of a beast and has seen better days. As i drew nearer though i saw she was wearing headphones, her Bang Olufsen doing an admirable job of drowning out the dull throb of the big diesel engine.

Not wanting to give her a fright i decided not to toot my horn and followed her thinking that she would soon become aware of my presence. It was while doing so that i became hypnotised by the perfect pocketwatch pendulum sway of her deliciously round derriere, dancing and jiggling in time to the rythm of her long stride as thougb trying to fight their way out of the confines of her overly tight and shiny running shorts.

This played out for quite a time until with a jump she realised i was there and deftly skipped into the knee high grass of the verge. She smiled an impish smile and waved me through, i returned the smile and bade her well and there we parted. Even though i had somewhere to be i was left a little disappointed.

Now it's true that i don't get joggers and jogging, the entire concept leaves me baffled and sometimes annoyed. On this one occasion though...well, i guess i'll make an exception.
