"Get in the pool,no impact and great exercise" i used to swim a mile every day before work - i have a back problem that stops that now unless i do back stroke but only really enjoyed breast stroke - come to think of it - swapped one breast stroke for a different kind ![]() | |||

It would be hard to fit it into a 12hr shift, walking is good too and instead of spreading out the meals have them together. I only work part time so yes got lots of free time for it and I spend about 8hrs a week in the gym, but then I do the cardio at home on the bike. One diet strategy that I recommend to everyone is zig zag calorie cycling, it will break through any plateaus someone have with a diet, which means you eat more on training days and less on non training days. | |||

"I walk everywhere. Do yoga and various muscle stretches once or twice a day (planks, lunges, that kind of thing). I try and do at least one other virtual cycle, jogging or step type exercise daily as well. I also try not to overeat and keep an eye on everything I do eat and drink. I really should have decided to lose weight and get healthier years ago; it's a right pain in the arse finally doing something about it at my age. At least I am now overweight rather than obese though so it's a step in the right direction." Well it's working xx | |||
