Essex.

It's a bug in the system, it's short for ampersand which is the name of &.

Sometimes the site shows amp instead of &...

Like on a light bulb.. if so then it means amperage.If its to do with sex then I haven't got a clue and would like to know myself as well.

if you type in & on your mobile, it comes up as amp, amp....its a glitch in the system..nothing sinister

It's a bug on the site.

amp is short for ampersand, which is the name of the & symbol found on the number 7 key on your keyboard.

Sometimes & is replaced with amp
