I just wondererd if there are any air crew on here that could enlighten me regarding tattoo policy among airlines ? I recently returned from Greece on a well know airline, as usual, first thing on my list after boarding is to check out the sexy aircrew ! We all do it don't we ! Lol. Anyway, one of the girls on this particular flight was gorgeous, blonde, very attentive and chatty, I noticed a tattoo on the back of her neck which I couldn't quite make out but made up my mind to find on the journey home ! Imagine then that as we settled into the flight and the crew started the service, this girl had a plaster across her neck hiding the tattoo from view ? Obviously, if it said something offensive, I can understand the need to cover up or it a policy at some airlines ?

Solihull

Different airlines have different rules. A lot used to have a no tattoo policy but then they were worried about being sued for discrimination.

Some have a must be covered by the uniform policy which they don't like as a new uniform might have shorter arms for example so a previously hidden tattoo is now visible.

Others are strict as they say it's untidy and gives the wrong image for there company

Quite a few of the women have discreet ones

I know a chap got refused by the met years ago, reason given, tattoo on fore arm that might give tourists the wrong impression if wearing shirt sleeve shirt order.

Didn't bother the life guards when he rode a big horse outside Buckingham palace though.
