Getting out on my road bike; it's only ever for a few hours bit, kit always helps me to put things into perspective and just empty my head of any stressful thoughts.

I struggle with this, but feel like this often. I don't get much 'me time', sometimes a bath with headphones and great music, or the gym

I go for a swim in the sea on the way back from work (work in Cornwall, live in Devon) if the weather is good.

I take a walk up to a place called Wistmans Wood (a magical little place on the moor), if the weather isn't too bad

And if the weather is horrid I like to make a good old fashion stew, (soul food) and retire to a big comfy chair.

I've often gone out for a drive to nowhere in particular, usually on the motorway with some great tunes playing.

Or I'll sit in my garden listening to the birds and the wind in the trees.

If I lived by the ocean, I'd go there daily to unwind. The gentle lapping of waves on the shore is by far the most relaxing sound I know

Being on/in or next to a nice quiet stretch of river is very relaxing. Or reading a book in the garden.

I'd love to just sit and listen. Sing along occasionally.

Guitar playing is just one of my favourite things

I forgot to add, mine are my music and getting up in the forests on my bike and enjoying the trails. In the winter there's nothing better than strapping my feet to a snowboard and feeling the chill of the mountain air on my face as I paint fresh tracks on the side of a mountain

I have to embrace the mope first. Then it's either walking the hound, some form of exercise, a cycle along the coast for example, or food.

I'd forgotten massage.

Forget the sexual connotation. Just a long full body massage, unhurried by someone who knows what they're doing.

Bliss!

It depends, if I'm feeling wiped out I pick up a good book or get my guitar out. If I'm not knackered it's the gym or the pool. I love the peace when you've got your head under the water, just focus on what I'm doing. A walk on the beach is always soothing too as long as it's not heaving.

For me its very simple , pooch and i head off for a walk. We know some wonderful out of the way places ,we just sit ans watch the world go by. On summer evenings we climb our favourite hill . Find our secret spot away from the world ans watch the sun melt into the sea . It's our hill top haven
