Apparently there are some drivers out there with 20 points and more (one with 28) from speeding/traffic offences. And why you may ask. Well apparently if you have extenuating circumstances say the MD of a firm and have to drive to keep things running they let them off. One rule for one and one for another it looks like. Is this double standards or what!

!2 points should be a ban no matter how important you think you are, what does anyone else think?

It's so wrong money wins over the law.

It's not always about how much money you have.

They are more likely to use their powers of discretion in favour of a guy running a small business who relied upon a license for his job and the employment of a couple of other people than an MD of a larger company who could afford to hire a driver.

However, sometimes people make bad calls…. and sometimes the full truth isn’t always reported.

They were on about this on TV the other day and that lawyer who gets the famous off was interviewed. He said like you some small businesses would suffer. Ok i get that with 12-14 points but 20 well that is just taking the piss out of the law. You get up to 8 or 10 you don't speed, run a light use your phone nothing till you get some off. These with 20 plus are abusing the system.
