Left from Right

So my ex wife, and present partner don't know their left from their right. And it's caused some monumental arguments. So am I missing something, or is it really that hard to remember?

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

My sister has that problem. If I'm directing her in the car I have to wave the relevant hand. Just saying 'right' or 'left' doesn't help her at all.

Its definitely a thing.

It's dangerous in a car that's for sure. Not too much of an issue saying the pasta sauce is in the left cupboard in the kitchen, but life threatening on the road.

i find it hard to remember and when giving instructions in the car i often gesture with the correct hand but say the wrong direction.

it shouldn't be that hard to remember really, i'm left handed so could remember that hand is the left.

Vik can't tell her right from her left. She can only work it out as she can only click her fingers on her right hand. So she is fine so long as she's not carrying anything. Thankfully she can't drive

I struggle with left and right too, but it hasn't made me a dangerous driver as I still pay attention to the road, so whilst I may have gone the wrong way I've still got there safely

If she holds both hands up in front of her, backs of the hand visible and four fingers together and thumbs out to the side, the left hand will show an L shape between the index finger and thumb....

My youngest child taught me that to remember this week....it works.
