Without knowing how you interact I can't comment. In general though there are rude people everywhere.

There's an elderly man in our street who's incredibly rude to anyone who parks perfectly legally anywhere near his car.

Interestingly enough though, I was listening to a friend who believed that the price of vagina was "too high". We're in a peculiar phase. Whether we like it or not, we all exist within a marketplace and are competing in one way or another. We compete for jobs, income, housing and yes....sex too. There is nothing wrong with recognizing ones value but, at the same time, one needs to be aware of the fact that a site like this will largely inflate the "value" of its commodity (sex). In the same way, a 55 year old sagging millionaire would be somewhat unwise to think that a bevy of women seeking to play "sugarbaby" is testament to his physical attractiveness. And yes, many women do complain that the improved options for older, accomplished men makes them become rather pompous due to their new found power.

OP is complaining that some here are rude...since rudeness is often a direct descendant of both entitlement and power, it would be fair to say that some here are indeed overestimating the value of their sexuality.

Yes, I can see your point to an extent and we agree on one thing at least, that there's nothing wrong with knowing your own worth. I think my opinion is probably influenced by the number of men who seek to devalue women and their sexuality with their entitlement and disrespect.

As a woman who knows her own worth I like to meet men who know theirs too rather than indulge in power games. I suspect your point about low self esteem applies to both the men and the women who do.

When it comes to older millionaires I always think of Bernie Ecclestone and Donald Trump...
