Good first message

Hi all,

Just curious of what people opinions of a good first message would be. I've sent a few out and rarely get replies, I do realise this is porbably because the other person is not interested. Just wanted to see what people though and maybe tweak my approach to them abit.

Be yourself and be honest.

You cannot be all things to all people, so what works for some won't work for others.

A detailed message will flick some peoples switch as it shows you want to put effort in, however others find long messages boring.

It's a male heavy website. As has been said above, be yourself, be honest and read their profile. Address a few things they may have mentioned in their profile and try to find out about the person behind the pictures. After all, a little effort can go a long way.

a simple hello is enough for me. If you take the time to message I'll always reply. There's the stuck up people tho who expect u to go Above and beyond on your 1st message which I think spoils your chances if you don't no exactly what to say

Don't write a template message and send it to anybody you are interested in, copy and paste messages stick out and don't impress.

Read their profile and write your message accordingly. The tone of their profile and what they are looking for should influence your message. A message that I feel was written specifically for me will get my attention much more than some generic message.

Also good to send a face pic, preferably one that isn't accompanied by 8 cock pics

Maybe strangely for this site but I like a nice polite gentleman who has clearly read my profile and knows how to string a sentence together.. a bit of humour doesn't hurt either.. good luck op

I mainly do what a few have already said and use some points from their profile that either relates to me as well or interests me then build a message around that and try not to make it too long.

Biggest advice I would say make sure you read profile fully we clearly say we only do club meets and 90%+ of messages we get ask to meet outside of clubs...it gets annoying when we've bothered to write what we are into when and where it may happen and they can't be bothered to read it...needless to say there into a negative score against a meeting at the outset.
