Funeral

Just come back from a funeral, the cremation of a customer turned friend, he was a real character and I cherish the memories I have of him and our conversations.

There were tears but mostly laughter, singing and dancing, a complete celebration of a full life well lived, I am somber and ebullient in equal measure.

Just wanted to share.

Good you could laugh and reminisce with fondness.

The last funeral I went to was the hardest and saw the most people in our family crying, for the longest time.

Sometimes writing things down helps us process.

Sending best wishes your way.

That's a good funeral. There can be joy among the sadness. Celebrate the life and memories as you mourn the loss.
