She may be in her sixties but Dame Helen Mirren has beaten off competition from much younger celebrities like Cheryl Cole and Kelly Brook to be voted Body of the Year.

The Oscar winning actress won 17.65% of the vote, putting her well ahead of Elle MacPherson.

The 48-year-old, who is nicknamed 'The Body', came second with just over 10% of the vote.

i agree with the poll.... there's something about HM that just oooozes sexiness...

whatever her age, I'd happily take a ticket and stand in line!!

There is so much airbrushing for magazines now i really don't know what to think. She is a great actress but she doesn't go buff in movies so its all guess work. I prefer to like her for her acting.

It's 20 years old now but in The Cook The Thief his Wife and Her Lover she rarely has any clothes on
