There and to the left a bit

Muse, Biffy, Madness, The Beat, The Specials, The Rolling Stones, U2 have all excited me when I've seen them live.

Really really looking forward to seeing Green Day for the first time this weekend too.

I was lucky enough to see Prince years ago in his prime and he was hard to top.

So many from my youth at the Glasgow Apollo - Thin Lizzy and ACDC with Bon Scott being top of the list. Little Steven & the Disciples of Soul at the Nite Club in Edinburgh was special, even better than Springsteen at the Playhouse in '81. I cried at Springsteen's acoustic solo tour in the 90s. Little Feat on a California beach as the sun went down and some old hippie passed me a huge doobie.

It's a toss up between Metallica at a weird intimate gig they did at the BBC building (200 people) or The Specials at the Brighton Centre in 2009.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Levellers are always a lively show. I enjoyed Muse and the Time Machine Tour by Rush. But Roger Waters The Wall waa just incredible.

Maiden, every single time. Slipknot for atmosphere, but same can be said for rammstein. Metallica decent but weirdly only when its dark.

We saw them a few weekends ago and I was really disappointed as was our friend who's a massive fan.

I've had a great time watching the Stone Roses and Rolling Stones and Damon Albarn at Latitude a few years ago was brilliant. Jake Bugg is amazing too.

Fat Freddy's Drop, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, The Levellers were all very fun. Recently, Agnes Obel was magical.

In no particular order;

Kasabian,

Scissor Sisters (I know, but brilliant live),

Blondie (Again, I know, but a legend),

Highly Suspect,

Metallica,

Limp Bizkit were the best I've seen live.
