Nope. IT support will fix your PC or replace your mouse. Infrastructure deal with the network and server side of things.

I got an email saying they'd saw my cv online and would i be interested. After checking the specs of the job role it doesn't really appeal to me

It does depend on the company, it can be the design tech. with a large budget and roll out team. Or a fancy name for patching up desks. Always read the job spec.
