So, after reading a post from another thread, I was curious how many out there make contact in some way with those people on your hotlist?

Or do you just wistfully look at their updates, hoping one day you'll pluck up the courage to say hello?

I'm definitely in the second camp and I doubt I ever would. To quote Wayne's world 'I'm not worthy'

I add them. Then get in touch. Depending what happens then they either get deleted or add to friends list.

Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

Our hotlist is full of people who live too far away or who won't meet smokers so we just perve their pics hoping that one day we might be in the same area of the country at the same time. There are also some on there because it's also our notlist.

Hotlisters are just people - same as the rest of us.

My Hotlist is a holding area, for when I've got enough spare time (and motivation), to devote proper thought to an introductory message.

Usually only one profile at a time, otherwise I get confused with multiple message threads.

I don't have anyone on my hotlist!

When I did previously it was those people that I hoped to talk to and hopefully meet in the future but hadn't got around to properly introducing myself yet. I gave up on all that when I UNLOSed and haven't used my hotlist since I rejoined

I don't bother with a hot list. I really don't see the point in being a shrinking violet. If I see someone I like the look of I'll message them. If I can't message them it's a waste of my time staring wistfully at their profile.

I don't really actively look for "hot guys", they just appear in my box and then become friends I chat to. I do have a hot list but most of them are friends also...."Hot Friends". My awkward inability to make the first move I still can't conquer. Sometimes I see a hot pic and think Oh Em Effing Gee, but I would never have the courage to say FAF.

I think all of my hotlist are forumites who got there for having a cute tush, and I'm too young to contact them anyway.

There are two that give me a fizzy belly, and I would never be able to message them first, even without the filters luckily one isn't going to the social.

We've got a pretty big hotlist, most are profiles that's we'll almost never meet due to distance or filters But their pics are good

Wouldn't like to think we're on anyone's hotlist and they wouldn't dare to message. I.e the ops I'm not worthy comment.

I know I'm worthy but with my limited pics on public profile they may not think that.

I think that's what I was trying to say.

There are many other people on here who offer pictures that I feel are stunning and my limited ones pale in comparison.

Haven't got a hotlist wouldn't say anyone on the thread is out off anyone else's league, Think it's more how you view yourself rather than them. I could be totally wrong but as a person if you had more confidence in how you perceive yourself look wise, It would maybe give you that added confidence to take the chance you'll never know unless you try

I add people that I liked the look of to my hotlist and have slowly been reading through profiles and sending messages. Then anyone who is not interested I delete. Although I have to admit, I have got a couple of people on there just to have a cheeky flick through thier pictures now and again.

We use the hotlist as a list of people whos profile or posts we like, who we are ging to message in the future. We message when we know we are going to have time to meet in the not to distant future for a meet, or if they put a status on that makes a message appropriate.

But that's the thing isn't it. We're shaped on past experiences, things we've been told over the years. If only it was possible to see ourselves through the eyes of others. I'm sure lots of people would be pleasantly surprised, myself included.

We use our holistic for sorting out possible meets so we have spoken to some of them but most is just wistful thinking on our part.

I don't actually have anyone on my hotlist. I pretty much bust up my courage to message you all anyway. (I feel I need to apologise sometimes ) but what are we here for if not to talk to each other. If i fancy you or like talking to you. Why wouldn't I?

But, I rarely message.

I've whittled mine down to none! The ones I felt I'd get on with I've messaged and the others have been removed.
